I don’t care for him much myself. As an actor he’s okay but really All I want for Christmas is Steve Harrington sweater demogorgon. I really liked that he’s not the cliché jerk character and even though at first you hate him, eventually he does something brave and loyal. I wasn’t expecting that, and I loved it.  I’m actually impressed that Steve kinda progressed from being a jealous douche bag boyfriend to something a little softer. And meatier. I’m interested to see how he goes in S2. Steve definitely redeemed himself by the end of season 1. I hated him in the beginning. but even still, I found myself wishing that nancy would end up with jonathan. I think they’re hinting at that happening in season 2. He grew on me by the end of Season 1. I didn’t care too much for him at the beginning of Season 1.
