I noticed it was made in China.  They have lower standards.  I hope it doesn't leach out lead because I would never know if it does.  Why couldn't it have been made in USA where I would be sure it is safe.  It looks good- - except for a few small specks of defects in the paint.  It turns white like it's supposed to with hot beverage.

I tremendiously impresed with the MUG, why bought the second one.
