I received the mug a couple of weeks after ordering (received an email in interium saying it was being made or created).  It was well protected in a styrofoam outer shell, and it is as advertised, a nice dark color with clearly printed words (on both sides of mug or cup).  It appears to be fairly heavy duty, but, of course, if you drop it on a hard surface, it will likely break.  I am happy with the mug, although I wish I could order one in a larger size (say 14 or 16 ounce).  If that ever becomes an option, I will order another one.
